布施的功德
- 布施能克服我们内在的悭贪和吝啬。
- 布施可以克服我们对财物的贪着。
- 布施可以增长我们的福德。
- 布施可以使我们把今世的财富带到来世。
- 布施分为财布施。法布施。无畏布施。
- 财布施。就是财富上的布施，包括随喜善款、供养寺院、供养师父。
- 法布施。用佛法去开导他人，解脱他的人生痛苦 无畏布施。
- 无畏施：令众生免于危难及病苦等 「十方来，十方去，共成十方事；万人施，万人舍，同结万人缘」

- Offerings are divided into financial offerings, Dharma-dana (Dharma Teachings), Abhaya-dana (bestowing of confidence by every true Buddhists).
- Financial Offerings is the giving of wealth, including donating money, supporting temples and supporting the Sangha.
- Dharma-dana is using Dharma to enlighten others and relieve their sufferings.
- Abhaya-dana is to save all sentient beings from dangers and sufferings.
